Ashley is a secret admirer. Oh, and not a lesbian!

There's this girl that works at a store that I frequent. Usually she cuts my fabric (ok you got me- it's Joann's. I'm a freakin' Regular.) and I gab with her about what I'm going to make and I ask her opinions and such. I can tell she's cool because she's my ageish and she has a nose ring- and she works at Joann's so she's not too-cool-for-school. But she's got that dry personality thing going on so I couldn't tell if she cared for me much. Well one of the last times I went in we got quite conversational in the button aisle and we finally learned each other's names! So tonight, much to my pleasure and surprise, she approached ME to say hi! (POSSIBLY to say "Wrap it up and get out of here, we're closing 1 minute ago" but she seemed more pleasant than normal and plus she said nothing about me getting out of the store.) She is quite warming up to me. :)

So the thing is, I don't know how to turn this girl into a real life friend! I don't know if it's necessary or anything but not all that common in my world when there's a mutual connection between me and another girl. I'd kind of like to make something of it.

This is just a musing. I probably won't take any advice on it. I'll probably just keep going to Joann's as much as I always do and keep being friendly! We'll see what happens.
