Ashley believes in Christ. Happy Easter!

Happy Easter :) It was good. I got some candy. I got to watch my nieces, who we are taking care of for a few days, and my nephew get a bunch of loot and be pretty stoked about it. I ate too much sugar on a fairly empty stomach and was pretty shaky all morning D:

General Conference was good. I guess that's kind of an understatement. Conference is great. Always.

Yesterday I watched GC in my parents' room and fell asleep only during a session. Not too bad... Well today I decided to watch it neither in the family room with everyone nor in my parents' room, but instead, by myself in MY room! Streamin' live on the internet. And I stayed awake for ALL of the two remaining sessions because I decided to draw for my d-a-d which I was behind on. Well awesome! Listening to amazing words and leaders, staying awake for it, AND getting something pretty righteous done that I needed to do anyway- SCORE! And I might add, the talks must have been extra inspiring because I busted out some pretty great drawings today, if I do say so myself :) Here's a link to my drawing-a-day album. Today I drew the soccer players, the man in the suit, and the baby from 1939 :)

Then there was an earthquake.
I all of a sudden swayed back a little- and I thought "Oh crap, am I sick and getting dizzy?!" But I was pretty sure I kept feeling the ground move and stuff... so I walked to a doorway, where it's supposed to be safe, and on the way to it I heard one of my cabinet doors swing and creak a little. I was sold. I knew then I wasn't no dizzy lizzy and this was fo real. Clearly it was pretty small here since no one seemed to believe me for a while but later it was quite evident- as it was all that was on the news.

Then I ran upstairs to finish assembling a delicious pasta salad for our big Easter dinner. I finished the giant vat of it after everyone had dished up their plates so it didn't get dug into much. I don't mind. I could eat that stuff for ages. And I'll have to now because there's still a vat.

Then I went on a walk in the dark at almost 9pm with my sister Jenalyn. It was a nice :) Also it started raining a little. Bonus!
