Ashley is keepin' up the good work. That of HAPPINESS.

I'm going to be focusing on this again. I had something real nice for a minute there, when I was being diligent. Well guess what- I STILL want to be happy. So I have to STILL do the work (that I know works!).
I've been feeling fine, but I think I could be feeling, and thinking, better. There was a time in the last 6 months where I was noticeably happier. And I had a good thing, so I shouldn't let it go. In this book, there is a program at the end, employing the information and resources of the book (i.e. the meditation CD). It's 8 weeks and I'M GONNA DO IT! In fact, I already started. It's day 3. It will only be a blessing to me. And to everyone because I'll be less crotchety and irrational of company for them :)

To anyone that is thinking that meditation is hokey and weird etc etc: 1) I don't think you really know what it is- at least not the kind I do, 2) you GOTTA try it before you knock it, and 3) my non-hippie Mormon therapist said, in response to my hesitation (from either skepticism or laziness/dread of chilling out)... "Meditation could change your life." And I know she's right.
