Ok ok... I can't believe I'm doing this. I'm not even in front of a live audience but this is basically as nerve wracking. You should check my heart rate right now. Anyway...
So I've talked about how I sing, but I don't sing solo ever. I've sung solo in a serious way in front of maybe 3 people. But maybe posting this video is a small step toward actually sharing my talent (?) on a larger scale someday. (If I get good feedback, I'll consider it a talent. If not then I'll probably have to re-assess things.)
This song is "Morning Song" by Jewel. It's random, yes, but one morning before work my roommate had some 90's soft-chick-rock playing on Pandora and I hadn't heard this song in forever, thought it was pretty, and I had it stuck in my head throughout the day. The humming part is because I don't remember the words, and according to my research I probably have the last line wrong too. But that's the story of my life. I'm very good at mixing up lyrics. Ah well, there are worse things. Anyway, so this is me on my commute home- ever-so-safely recording myself in the car when my eyes and attention should be on the road.
